William Horn

William Horn believes in faith, family, and forward-thinking. 

His faith in God and his experience as a Sunday School teacher and Elder at Indian Creek Christian Church has given him a helping heart to guide clients through difficult and happy times. 

His 40+ year marriage with Connie and his choice to continue the Horn legacy when he first joined his father’s business in 1974 are constant reminders of the importance and value of family.

His passion for forward-thinking and customer service led him to become the first realtor to show homes on video, allowing clients to quickly view the listings from his office. William also had the first virtual Real Estate radio program with Betty Gayle on WCYN. They would do a walk-through of the homes for their many listeners.William believes that when integrity is combined with forward-thinking, customers get an incredible, cutting-edge experience.

In 1983, William &Connie had their son, JR. In the same year, William became a licensed apprentice auctioneer and was elected to his first term as a City Commissioner. 10 years later, William was ready to take auctioning into the computer age and as a result, Horn’s Auctioneering has taken the small market in Cynthiana, KY to the global community. In 2003 the firm purchased their current location and opened their Auction Gallery.

William believes that if you do not stay up with the times, the times will leave you behind. This belief, along with his faith and commitment to family have allowed Horn’s Real Estate and Auctioneering to be an advanced and trusted asset to Cynthiana, KY and customers around the globe.
